Book your Highland Cow Experience from Edinburgh & Meet Scotland’s much-loved Highland cows

With their shaggy coats, impressive horns and unmistakable appearance, Highland cows are a memorable part of a visit to Scotland.

Enjoy a Highland cow experience with private transport from Edinburgh or an agreed collection point. I can arrange your visit as a dedicated outing or include it within a personalised day tour.

A personal experience

Spend time meeting Highland cows and learning about their individual personalities, the breed and its history from someone who knows and cares for them.

Having visited the experience myself, I was struck by the care shown to the animals and the wonderful bond between them and their keeper. It’s an experience I’m delighted to help my guests discover.

There’s time to enjoy being around these beautiful animals, ask questions, and take photographs, while following the keeper’s guidance.

Your visit, with transport taken care of

I’ll coordinate the visit and provide comfortable private transport, collecting you from your accommodation or another agreed location.

Your outing can include:

A Highland cow experience arranged in advance.

Private return transport.

Collection and drop-off at an agreed location.

Additional sightseeing stops, depending on your itinerary.

Whether you’re travelling as a couple, a family or a small group, I’ll help plan an outing that suits your interests and the time you have available.

Make it part of your Scottish day tour

Your Highland cow visit can be the highlight of a shorter outing or part of a wider day exploring Scotland. If you’d like to combine it with scenic stops, historic places or lunch along the way, let me know, and I’ll suggest an itinerary.

Plan your Highland cow experience

To enquire, please send your preferred date, the number of people travelling, and your collection location. I’ll check availability and provide a personalised quote covering the experience and private transport.

Visits are subject to availability. Activities around the animals follow the keeper’s guidance, and suitable outdoor clothing and footwear are recommended.
